It affects the monitor. Is the monitor really non-essential?
And is there a way to use the old screen locker until this is fixed?
It's a pretty big regression.

Hi there
The following was collected after using audacity, witnessing the bug (no
sound on headphones), getting out of Audacity, trying sound with other
software with no success, unplugging the headphones and getting sound
out of the speakers, and testing the headphones again to no avail.

Public bug reported:
With system monitor running, I got a nasty surprise. The system locked up when
CPU1 hit 100%. This required a power down reboot after about 30 minutes of no
response. The screens (3) were still displaying but the mouse keyboard were
frozen.
I 5s powerred down and rebooted

No, unless you don't go back to previous gnome-screensaver version.
BTW if you've set to lock the screen by default when screensaver
starts, just running:
gdbus call --session --dest

Rhythmbox displays album art itself at the top of the window, among the

notification bubbles, and in indicator-sound. Rhythmbox is using the
wrong album art much of the time. In the instant case, the mp3 files

Thank you for your report!
However, processing it in order to get sufficient information for the
developers failed (it does not generate a useful symbolic stack trace). This
might be caused by some outdated packages which were installed on your system

The test results I posted are using the modified hda-jack-sense-test. I placed
the script in /usr/share/snd-hda-tools/ becuase it requires some of the
libraries in that directory to function.
I just ran all updates and here are the test results.
No headphones plugged in.

I also had pulseaudio eating about 7% of CPU (Kubuntu 14.04 with the
