completely from my laptop and with no recovery of it.here in ubuntu

Hit on desktop running 14.04 and nvida gtx 780. Was running nvidia-
3nvidia-3340 drivers
Fixed by uninstalling nvidia drivers:
sudo apt-get purge nvidia*
Then running the gsettings command from post 11.
Once I was back in, I installed the nvidia drivers via the 'additional
drivers' interface.

Is the loss of focus really temporary? For me, it seems permanent. For
example, in Firefox's, tab groups feature, if I am focused on the title
of a tab group (with the purpose of renaming it) and I switch layout
with meta+space, the focus is lost from that field. And it isn't

It's the same issue – the whole app (Firefox) loses the focus
temporarily, whch in turn might cause a permanent focus loss of one
particular component inside Firefox. The core problem is that Firefox
itself shouldn't lose the focus at the first place.

I noticed that when I play a video, as far as I am in maximized mode
(not full screen) no icons are shown for a while. As soon as I enter the

I noticed a couple of days ago that the sound volume control doesn't
work. I can slide it to min or max, but the volume remains the same. I
now use the control on the speakers, but it is annoying.

Sure, (e.g. to libmergedlo.so) and to libcuilo.so in --disable-mergelibs
case.
