Out of curiosity, has Accumulo defined how its PMC membership operates?
I don't recall seeing anything written down about this.

One of the tasks we have not yet taken on is to write bylaws for the
Accumulo project. This is where things like PMC membership, subprojects,
committer requirements, etc. are found. Here's an example:
