Also the release artifacts were not properly staged here: https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/activemq/activemq/ That is step 11 of the release guide You don't need to worry about the Javadoc or site plugin stuff until after the vote passes ( step 9 and 10) They can be moved to after the vote
