It would be great if you could include https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMQ-8617 - it has a PR included.
I set the bug to MINOR when submitting it, but it is pretty blatant and completely ruins the queue that is affected when you use exponential backoff redelivery, enable non-blocking redelivery, and you get a string of poison messages in a row. If there is anything I can do to help getting that in, please let me know.
