           Summary: telnet task performance problem
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.6.2
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Optional Tasks
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

the telnet task has a performance problem if waitforstring has
to wade through more and more accumulating input.

the stringbuffer grows unbounded. Realistically it only needs to remember the
last n chars, where n is the length of the string you are waiting for.
