Only tiny suggestion I'd make is a quick sentence explaining what a hash

In the dev meeting today, folks suggested grabbing the code that's being
used in the dashboard and looking at creating an LLM summary of the dev
mailing list to use as a starting point. I extracted threads from May to
now, and added in a previous report as a rough reference for tone/structure
etc.
Congrats Alenka!

OK, great, thanks both for your comments. Given there don't seem to be any
overall objections, I'll push ahead with getting this set up and make a PR
to integrate it into the docs.
We can assess its suitability once it's up there and we've got some data
from testing it out.
ice is useful enough.
Absolutely - perhaps we can try it for 1 major release and evaluate before
the next one whether we've got anything useful out of it and then make the
decision about whether to retain it or not.

I had suspected there might be conflict with the website policy [4] but it

What do folks think of the idea of us experimenting with this for Arrow?

Hi Kou,
The Arrow R package is still in the process of being submitted to CRAN, so
if it helps and could reduce the work needed for 18.0.1 could we replace
the C++ binaries with the correct ones?

including the parameter (and values) `null_values =
c("", " ", "NA")` in your call to `open_dataset()`? By default, empty
strings are set to NA values, but spaces are not, so this could be the
source of your error.
