There's yet another venue we have used quite successfully in the past. There's Linux at Scale conference, hold annually in LA area. As an Apache project, we were getting free booth and some room to do workshops. Nate would be the best person to comment on the protocol around it. -- Regards,

Hi all, I'd like to kick-off a survey for having a Bigtop community meeting at conference. I think getting together for F2F discussion is the most efficient way for collaboration. Topics on top of my head: * The shape of 1.3 release * Road toward Bigtop 2.0 * Use cases & user feedback * Innovatio

Hey friends, I find the deb/rpm repos extremely useful for installing bigtop pkgs. As mentioned during the vote for 1.2.1, repos for ppc64le do not yet exist. I can see the ppc64le CI trunk repo includes noarch packages for x86/arm and the arch specific bits for ppc: https://ci.bigtop.apache.org

Hey Evans, my intel tests are looking great so far. Since Amir mentioned ppc64le, I was curious if you had an ETA for the 1.2.1/ppc64le convenience repo. I understand this won't block the release, but I'd be happy to run some tests on that arch if/when the repo becomes available. On Wed, Oct 25,

That's great! The original deadline is October 29th, 2017 at noon PDT. We can reset that based on your timeline for conducting the testing. 2017-10-25 4:35 GMT+08:00 MrAsanjar . : > when is the deadline?! I would like to get my team verify Bigtop on ppc64le > platform, however it wpn't be possi
