Ok …. There you are … however I didn’t add it to the build as I couldn’t get it
to work.
I was getting some odd error messages which I can’t really say how to fix them.

Yeah great to hear that it can be donate to Apache Camel.
A PR is very likely the best approach. Then its easier for us to review and
also make it build like the other components, so it can generate the
metadata and what else we do.
Also the package name should be org.apache.camel.component.xx
