Both built fine for me (with the exception of some checkstyle in jmxconnect
which I planned on fixing today), so I thought that people could try them out
and if they're interesting enough they will get the necessary traction. They
are less likely to try them out from the sandbox, I think

The two components: jmxconnect and ode are still in development and
are not ready to be included in the dist kit / or published in maven
central repo.
jmxconnect should most likely be moved to sandbox. However when we
