Hi OCW Folks, OK, I just wanted to post some developer documentation here which details the release process and why it is important for Apache software to go through a release process. http://www.apache.org/dev/release-publishing.html If you have any issues with the release candidate or with how to go about reviewing it then please let me or someone else know on this list. In Apache OCW we have 28 committers (write access to the OCW codebase) and 29 LDAP committee members. In addition there are 47 people subscribed to this list meaning that there are a lot of people able to review a release candidate. I would like to again reach out and offer myself as a resource to guide people through the release candidate review process over and above the tried and tested guidance I've provided so far. Apart from attracting new developers and users of the OCW codebase, the release candidate review process is probably THE most important thing that a member of the community can do.
