Just a note here and not commenting on whether there should/shouldn't be
more delay, I think it would be great to roll 1.1.0 (or w/e it's going to
be) once Kyo get's his stuff merged and proposed changes made. With Lewis
around and Kyo motivated to get the release out I don't see how there could

Re. more regular releases and a roadmap, +1 from me. It's not complicated.
We've talked about more regular releases in the past we just need to work
actively towards doing it. So let's do it!

that having a -1 from one of the current core contributors should have been

Hopefully you wont mind me adding my 2c, and I don't use the platform so
this is purely hypothetical.
It would seem to me that is shouldn't be too hard to dump in a bunch of
"releases" into Jira that are quar
