Thank you, this is clear.

than mounting submaps.

You have to bear in mind that it's still in beta and there's some
components that's are not migrated yet but we have one production site
working with Apache Cocoon 3.

Dear all,
Considering the upgrade cost of an existing project to cocoon-3, I have the
following question:
what happened to map:mount?
As in:
It was a handy modularity mechanism to reduce the size of sitemaps.
Is it no longer there?
Do we need it? Do we want it?
Kind regards,

last commit around the issue r13898
Dear,
Just did a test and saw that:
parameters in "relative path" notation get translated as:
{../map:parameter1}==> they do not translate.
Let me have a closer look...
Meanwhile:
- anyone used this notation/behaviour?
Strange this did not get observed before.

Hi Javier,
What is the best to do then?
Close the issue and keep in mind that "absolute" parameter addressing is
not used?
I think we can live with relative paths. It is just a bit awkward that a
when-matcher does
introduce a new 'level' (well, all depends on how you want to see it ;-)
but, OK, if

Here is a better restatement of the problem:
The "ObjectModel" keeps hold of the sitemap parameters and other variables.
In SitemapParametersStack, a series of parameters is pushed upon the stack
