Large xml's in cocoon

Hi, I have a xml file that contains database rows. If the number of rows are greater than 5000 then cocoon fails to tranform them to html and display them. It gives a blank page with no errors. Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a way I can  make cocoon perform better with big xml.?

Hi, I am using cocoon as a portal server. In one of my coplets when the user submits a form I want the output to be displayed in a excel file. When I have the excel operation in a submit button this doesnt work. If I use a hyperlink in the page with all information in the url then it works.
