Hi all while I have a bit of time at hand I'd like to use that and cut a new release of Compress. On my list of things I intend to do for the release:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COMPRESS-485 - make the change to ParallelScatterZipCreator#submit backwards compatible. japicmp doesn't even see the change is incompatible because of type erasure, unfortunately. https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COMPRESS-231 - port the linked MultiReadOnlySeekableByteChannel.scala to Java 7 inside the utils package and update the docs. If I find time I really want to look at https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COMPRESS-478 but this is going to take uninterrupted time inside of a hex editor :-) @Emmanuel, you have indicated you were close to completing https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COMPRESS-487 . Is this something I should wait for? Is there anything else anybody wants to work on before the next release?
