While this is Media Capture API it is the declarative side of things
(so not as gnarly). I'm cool w it living in core as it is useful, and
less involved than the imperative API for Media Capture.

Nice, that will make it easier to add in my WP7+WP8 implementations,
especially if you add the dynamic loading.
Are we going to drop the lib contents? I know that Michael B has been
working on this

Hey
I'm looking at this issue right now, and it seems that this is
actually implementing a Capture API more than it's implementing the
File URI. Should this be broken out into a plugin, or brought into
core, and is adopting a chunk of the Android Browser something that we
want to be doing?
Here'
I am going to merge future branch into master imminently.

sorry, it's reflexive :)
apache/cordova-blackberry7
apache/cordova-blackberryplaybook

I'm a no on this. Conceptually grouping by operating system vendor
makes more sense (to me). If we're going down this path the other
repos need to be refacored to reflect it: cordova-platform-* (and
Windows will need breaking out).
(Also I'm not a fan of mixing pascal case with camel case but that
Yes, it totally make sense.
FYI, the app: URI proposal over at the sys apps is moving to first public
working draft.
Would love to see this incorporated / taken into account when we do the
api audit and look at the file api.

Don't think that will be an update with the tools. The xpaths are
specified in particular plugins' plugin.xml, so if anything those
manifests will need to be updated.
I added wildcard elements in XPaths a week back or so, so that should ease
the transition. I.e. Change target to /*/plugins from /c
+1 sunsetting BB7

Currently, BlackBerry exists as a single repository containing 3 different
implementations of Cordova: BB7, PlayBook and BB10.
This has been great from a user perspective: the cordova create tool
allowed you to specify which target you wanted to build/run to once a
project has been created.
Howev
I'm away until Monday as well. I think this will also need an issue to
update plugman because the change to the top-level tag name broke some
xpaths.
