Oh thanks. But actually I had messed up the 4.3.3 annoucement which want's
published, and this ended up in the 4.3.4 announcement message.
I've pushed an update on master now: see

Thanks Steve,
David - none of us have privileges to do anything on the Github mirrors.
You would act on them by committing to the Apache repos. The pull request
emails to dev@ have instructions for each pull request on how to proceed.

Pinging this old thread to indicate that :
1. The release has been voted and is now available publicly
I would need a green light to either merge and publish that announcement
blog post:
https://github.com/apache/cordova-docs/pull/607
and the documentation update that accompanies it:

Umm yeah, my bad. Forgot that on a fresh Ubuntu system Git is not installed
by default, so I had to install that. Installing Git makes the problem go
away...

On a fresh Ubuntu 16.04 system, I:
1. installed node 6.2.0
2. installed cordova-6.2.0
3. Created a new project
4. Then `cordova platform add
https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf/cordova-ubuntu.git#4.3.4`
I get an error:
Error: Failed to fetch platform null@
Reviewing this today.

Hey,
Just a quick note to say I'm going to do another minor release of
cordova-ubuntu to fix some bugs.
It will still be on the 4.3.x line, ie a bit outdated, but to keep a safe
fallback while we get 6.x ready for developers to use.
I will use https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-11294
