The original pull request wrapped the localStorage access correctly, though I 
wonder about follow-on effects.  For instance, if you start poking at the 
localStorage bits from the weinre client, what happens?  Should we indicate to 
the use that "this is not the localStorage you're looking for (because it's not 
accessible)"?
