If I recall, I believe Jan tried implementing it a while back to see if
TraceMonkey sped things up any in regard to the views and (I believe) he found
it was a lot heavier in terms of memory consumption. Something to watch for if
it hasn't already been remedied (it likely has, it was in a rathe
Render seems to provide a nice, clear definition for taking data (from a view
view) and transforming (rendering) that data into something more useful.

Not that it matters but +1 for _render - I think that's the best definition
thus far especially when using "as" as the preposition to the format type.
