Let's not delay the release for Fauxton. I know it's tempting, but we
should try to stick to our guns vis-à-vis timed releases. We'll be doing
another one in August, and then September. So there's nothing to worry
about. :)

Agreed. Alright, new Fauxton ship target is 1.5.
So that would likely be the August release, then?
And, to consider all the options: how much more delay *would* be enough
to ship 1.4? A few days? A week?
Cheers,
Fauxton Folks (and other interested parties),
Yesterday at the meeting there was some consensus that we're shipping
Fauxton in 1.4, alongside Futon. I was talking about this with Russell
and Garrett on IRC before that (and they were in the meeting), but I
just want to make sure we have our ducks
Hey Dirkjan,
I think Tuesday might be a little tight. We don't have the new UI in place yet.
We could ship a very very early beta with the old design with most the
functionality of futon except for replication. Russell, Sue what do you two
think?

Tuesday is quite tight, I thought we had a while longer before 1.4. My
preference is postpone to the next release and bring it in when we have the
new UI in place, which should be sometime in August.

Hey Dirkjan,
Imho, better no rush with end-user tools. If Fauxton aims to replace
Futon, it should really impress and be featured since the first shot.
Otherwise users may not meet it positive so that whole the idea will
be ruined no matter how awesome it had planned to be.
