(2) Long term, SVN would be preferred I agree. For now just submit PRs
with the JIRA number in the PR name. It should register w/ patch
I am getting started on cTakes and was surprised to see that the project is
still using SubVersion.
Is there any plan to migrate to Github since most other Apache projects
have already migrated over? It would be easier to submit/review patches on
Git than SVN.
