2.3 is now staging, but I probably won't get to start the vote till after the kids are in bed. I ran into some problems with the release plugin and the new samples setup that cause me to have to tweek a bunch of things during the release process. Wasn't nearly as simple as normal. I'll look into that more before the next release.
