It apears that hacking around this is not as simple as I would loke. The
problem is being triggered from SchemaSet, when we evaulate the line:
* lazy val globalSimpleTypeDefs: Seq[GlobalSimpleTypeDefFactory] =
schemas.flatMap(_.globalSimpleTypeDefs)
