Please consider speaking, participating, or attending. Our little project needs promotion and needs to grow its synergy with other projects. Even now, and more so by October, our Daffodil VSCode environment will be a great thing to showcase - it's really a new kind of debugger - focused on data format issues. We also have cool new features coming up in Daffodil proper like the C-backend, EXI support, etc. They have these hackathons which would be great for working on integrating Daffodil into other Apache data frameworks. There are lightning talks (you get 5 mins), birds-of-a-feather meetings, and the usual presentations, demos. There are booths for some projects. I've been to two ApacheCon conferences - they are huge and a bit overwhelming at first - you can't possibly participate in everything you'd like. You have to pick some things, and be satisfied with that, They are also rather amazing, and I expect you will find that attending is well worth the time and expense.
