Mike Drob created DIRKRB-753: -------------------------------- Summary: Incorrect generalized time returned in several locales, causing LoginException Key: DIRKRB-753 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRKRB-753 Project: Directory Kerberos Issue Type: Bug Affects Versions: 2.0.1, 1.0.1 Environment: Tested with both 1.0.1 and 2.0.1, using Java 11 on macOS Big Sur. Reporter: Mike Drob
The default locale will affect the time encoded into the KDC auth response. This causes {{LoginContext::login}} to throw an Exception. I ran this for all of the locales I had available locally, and found that it failed for all of the following: {code} ["mzn", "ps", "mr", "uz", "ks", "bn", "my", "sd", "pa", "ar", "th", "dz", "ja", "ne", "ckb", "fa", "lrc", "ur", "ig"] {code} I was using SimpleKdcServer via Hadoop's MiniKDC because that happened to be easier to set up, but I'm pretty sure that the problem exists without it as well. Potentially related to DIRAPI-219? This is not a contribution. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.4#803005) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@directory.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@directory.apache.org
