To workaround the issue place the following statement in tomcat runtime env:
In TOMCAT_HOME/bin/setenv.sh
```
JDK_JAVA_OPTIONS="$JDK_JAVA_OPTIONS
--add-opens=java.desktop/javax.swing.tree=ALL-UNNAMED"
```
