Hi Open Office dev list..

I'm here to ask for help with some International Computer
Driving Licence (ICDL) courseware materials.

For those of you who have not heard of the ICDL it is an
Internationally recognised computing qualification. It's the
world's leading end-user computer skills certification
programme with more than 6 million candidates in 146 countries.

I am volunteering on a project to develop a Mepis linux based
version of the ICDL. However once the course was written
(and released under a creative commons license) the
Open office chapters could easily be incorporated into ICDL
course materials for any operating system.

In 2004 a creative commons Mandrake version of the ICDL was
written for OO 1.X, and we are able to use those documents as a base
and update them for Open Office 2.0.

You do not need any special skills to help out; if you can
cut' n paste then your skills would be most appriciated..

I really believe that this effort help both on a practical level
but also on a conceptual level of establishing OO as a viable alternative
for business and public sector workers.

To sign up and help out;

thanks in advance

Sam
