Hi all,

if you look at our Wiki documentation page you will find that we have already a nice collection of How Tos. However, as these How Tos come from different writers they do not present a uniform style. As the OpenOffice.org Style Guide and the OOoAuthors Style guide mainly cover printed documentation there is no valid style guide for the Wiki How Tos. And as more and more How Tos are on the way into the wiki I thought it was time to define some standards for writing those How tos.

During the last weeks I have been working on a style guide that is aimed at the How Tos in our Wiki but it may also be useful for other web based help publications. You can find it at http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/Dashboard/Help_Style_Guide

It would be nice to hear from you if something important is missing or if there is something to improve.
