The vote for a new release candidate opened. Please do release testing of
RC1.
Changes since the previous release candidate:
DRILL-6913: Fix multiple error output in the console,
DRILL-6912: NPE when other drillbit is already running,
DRILL-6916: Fix extraneous
Thanks for looking into this Vitalii and identifying the root cause.
Presumably the minor version change of Hbase does not cause any other
issues.

Hi Aman,
The root cause of the issue is not obvious and related to HBase lib [1].
I have described the root cause of the issue and steps for reproducing it
in [2] and also opened PR for it [3].
Thanks for finding this.

@Aman Sinha I am investigating, which maven plugin
causes creating this dir.
I guess this sinks rc0. I'll prepare new release candidate once
issues in DRILL-6912 [1] and DRILL-6913 [2] are fixed.

I think above issues are blockers, Vitalii please cancel the vote
Kind regards,

Hi all,
I'd like to propose the first release candidate (RC0) of Apache Drill,
version 1.15.0.
The release candidate covers a total of 185 resolved JIRAs [1].
Thanks to everyone who contributed to this release.
The tarball artifacts are hosted at [2] and the maven artifacts are hosted
at [3].
