Hi all,
bnd 3.0.0 has been released now so we should release the
maven-bundle-plugin with that.
I'm planning to kick off the release process sometime today.

I think the current plan is end of August/early September.
However, as the previos maven bundle plugin release (2.5.4) is unusable,
maybe we should cut a relea
+1 for waiting for the bnd release if it happens soon.
It should be easier to work on issues if we know exactly what tag we are
based on.

Shouldn't we wait for an official bnd release - which I believe is
happening soon.

Well, given I used the latest master branch of bnd, I suppose this is
included in the version embedded...
It we keep it, that may definitely warrant of minor version change.
It the change is seen as risky, I can revert it and keep with bndlib 2.x
released on maven central and we could release a mi
We could consider waiting for bnd 3.0 which fixes a number of issues.
This includes new OSGi annotations. For example this one:

I think bnd 3.0 is planned for July 31st or some time around that.
