I don't understand the remainder of your suggestion: "trigger the query" and

I am unable to get a to show up in the wholesite.pdf.
I tried putting the *.png in the same directory as the including *.xml
content file (which is in xdocs/).
I tried two other places as well. The figure shows up nicely in the
build/site *.html file.
If this is a bug it would be nice to get
