Geode dropped .zip starting with 1.8.0, so it is likely an oversight that Geode-examples still makes .zip artifacts too. It was requested[1] recently that we fix this. The proposed fix is available to review[2] along with accompanying changes to the release validation pipeline[3]. Since this i
