The problem with leaving it as "gfsh" is that you already have a "gfsh" symbol link that points to a _gemfire_ installation. If you name the geode shell distribution as "gfsh", then when you need to switch from geode to gemfire you will have to have a mechanism to overwrite or update the _gemfire_

I run _both_ gemfire and geode on my laptop and I found this gfsh conflict early on. I created a symbolic link named "geode" and pointed it to the geode gfsh binary. I then just say "geode start locator ...", etc. I thought of other alternatives but "gesh" wasn't doing it and so I just left it "
