sorry, thought this was something else.
The enhanced classes get put into the configuration's classloader.
Offhand I would suspect the tomcat classloader has the wrong parent or
is somehow masking accessibility to the classes in the configuration
classloader. I remember it took some work
AFAIK, the policy file was to be used when running the deployer to enable
remote class loading in conjunction with the HTTPClassLoaderServer on the
server.
Since the HTTPClassLoaderServer on the server is gone, is this policy file
still needed?
This might be a question for Gianny.

I think an attempt is made to delete them (well most of the time) but can't
resulting in File.delete() returning false
