I just fixed it. 2.0.5. I had just updated to the latest version. I fixed
it by deleting the maven folder and downloading it again. Not sure what

Agree, I personally don't like the default 1.0. Although this version does not
necessarily need to match G version it would be nice to, at least, add a filed
in the wiz where you can specify a version number more representative to the
resource being deployed.

I find this to be working quicker for me
1. Make changes in geronimo-console-standard (I use eclipse for this)
2. go to applications\console
if changes only in java files, use mvn -o
if changes in JSP's also, use mvn -o clean install
3. copy
cp geronimo-console-standard\target\geronimo-
cons
