Hi JL, I just opened PR https://github.com/apache/geronimo-specs/pull/14 with the Security API spec for Geronimo. If everything is fine and after the merge, can you also deploy a snapshot version of it so we can use it? Thanks! Cheers, Rober

Yes, that is another point. Before starting to write the API, I did try to use the new Jakarta EE jar for security, but unfortunately it was not yet available. For the implementation, nothing is stopping anyone to contribute with code. > On 14 Jan 2019, at 12:17, Romain Manni-Bucau wrote: > >

It only concerns the spec if I got it right, which has nothing to develop but only a spec to respect, so no hurry to move it IMHO. In particular cause we can reuse jakarta api too now in terms of licensing to maybe a noop at the end and a gain for dependency management for end users and jpms. Roma

Yes, these need to be moved to Geronimo, but I think not at this time. I would like to have a more stable implementation before moving this over to Geronimo. There are still a lot of things missing, including in the API (I didn’t app the full API, I added the source in a need basis) and is just
