HMaster is not working with hadoop-2.2.0, is it compatable with
hadoop-2.2.0 ??

After moving the folder correctly, was able to upgrade. So I will continue
some few testing steps.

Files in the folders are called "hbase-0.96.0-hadoop2-bin.tar.gz". Should
it be "hbase-0.96.2-hadoop2-bin.tar.gz"? Or are they the wrong files?
I think the files are wrong since the CHANGES.txt into it doesn't contains
what you are listing here.

Migration from 0.94 to 0.98 is in fact supported. We tested migration with
0.98.0 and it worked. I believe LarsH at Salesforce did the same. Maybe you
have some kind of environmental issue?

I agree that resuming the process is best handled by site-local tooling.
Could be we do a better job of informing that tooling regarding the nature
of the failure. Well defined exit codes, for instance, may be useful.
