Hi,
Apologies for Yahoo Mail mangling my reference URLs below. It's a recent

it.
Anyway, here is another go at the URLs:

Hi,
Thought this would be better as a separate thread. There is a current document
page on ISIS wiki [1] describing ISIS "View Model". I think this is a good
description of ISIS "View Model" as it reinforces that you may on occasion have
need of a "View Model" for some UI scenarios but otherwise

Hi,
After David's explanations I've started favoring option 1) (i.e. separate
annotations for ViewModel).
I am not into DDD (yet!) and I haven't seen a simple and clear example of
ViewModel in action, so I cannot still visualize it in my head.
I understand Dan's suggestion to make everyone happy
Good consensus for me also :)

Hi Dan!
Thanks for this proposal.
Just some thoughts. i don't see compatible an option called "UI_VIEW" in a
"domain" object.
Perhaps just "VIEW"?
If that's the case, what would differentiate it from a @ViewModel?
That said, it would keep "JDO_ENTITY", "EXTERNAL_ENTITY" (I love that concept

Hi David!
What it's clear is that properties/collections can be useful not only for
domain layer objects, so the @Domain prefix should not be added.
Regarding the Application Layer, I agree that sometimes it can be a clear
indication of an anemic domain. But properly implemented and used, it's
