is it possible to enable a cluster configuration on a existing repository ?
lets say i have a running repository and add a cluster-configuration in
the repository.xml .. is this possible ?

ok thanks and if i start a second cluster member after that will all the data

available to the second cluster member or only the data that was written in the
revision log ?

All the content is seen by all cluster
All the content is seen by all cluster nodes. The journal is just used
to trigger observation events, search index updates, cache
invalidation and other operations like namespace and node type
registration. The actual content is kept in the shared persistence
stores.
