I am also interested in participating again in GSoC 2015 with jclouds. The
issue you mention also caught my attention. Maybe we could divide this into
a couple of projects :)

I'm trying to make a new profile to run some tests for the glacier provider
that will take several hours (3~5).
The test class name is GlacierClientLongLiveTest, so it's excluded by
default unless we use the live profile. I duplicated the live profile, and
