[PATCH] fgetpos does not need to flush buffers
----------------------------------------------

                 Key: JRUBY-2663
                 URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/JRUBY-2663
             Project: JRuby
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Wayne Meissner
            Assignee: Thomas E Enebo
            Priority: Minor
         Attachments: fgetpos.patch

ChannelStream.fgetpos() currently calls lseek(0, SEEK_CUR), which has the
effect of both flushing the read/write buffers, and doing a couple of
unneccessary seeks.

There should be no need for the buffer flushing just to get the current
position, and it looks like its probably a leftover artefact from the
translation from glibc source.
