I’ve put debug on to the adapter that’s failing more than the others and I
observe that sometimes it fails to start up and sometimes it doesn’t. Either
way the call back to the REST interface to tell it that it can return back to
the API doesn’t work and the original

I wasn't able to identify anything obviously wrong from your logfile and
visible configurations. REST timeouts are something that we have ongoing
problems with, and they're usually caused by blocking plugins.
