Im trying to install the latest 3.0.1 version of Karaf from the following
link :
http://karaf.apache.org/index/community/download.html#Karaf3.0.1
When I download the apache-karaf-3.0.1-src.tar.gz, its just 9KB and gives me
the following error on installation on my unix box:

http://mirrors.ircam.fr/pub/apache/karaf/3.0.1/apache-karaf-3.0.1-src.zip
where the size is 4.7MB and looks good to me.
Please, can you try another mirror ?
If you use curl or wget, you have to follow the redirection to pick up
the mir
Another way of retrieving the sources is to use our GIT repository.

I directly downloaded apache-karaf-3.0.1.tar.gz from the mirror location
specified by you.

Hi Sapna,
it seems that I'm able to reproduce your problem at least with Karaf
3.0.1 on a Windows 7 machine.
Karaf 2.3.5 works fine, but Karaf 3.0.1 seems to be stuck at startup.
I gonna check bin/karaf.bat.
I keep you posted.

The background processes of loading the bundles goes on, because I could see
the log file and instance.properties getting updated, but it just doesn't
start up.
I havent tried 2.3.5 yet. 2.3.2 still
