First of all, please ask this kind of question on the user mailing list,
dev mailing list is more for karaf devs.
About your question and log, you can reduce max backup to 1 or 2 (instead
of 5) for the rolling file appender. You can also reduce the log file size
(16mb by default).

We are facing logging issues on production because of which we must keep on
increasing the disk space more often . We are currently using apache Karaf
4.3.7 . And below is the log4j configuration . Please suggest if any
modifications can help at least reduce some logging .
