The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache Knox
has invited Phil Zampino to become a committer and PMC member
and we are pleased to announce that he has accepted.

Phil has contributed a great deal to the 0.14.0 release of Apache Knox.
He has collaborated on the design and approach for Service Discovery
and Topology Generation framework as detailed in KIP-8. In addition,
he has contributed the entire implementation that is currently available.

His discussion, review and assistance on the mailing lists and on JIRA
has been helpful to others in the community.

He will make a great PMC member and I look forward to his continued
work on Apache Knox.

Being a committer enables easier contribution to the
project since there is no need to go via the patch
submission process. This should enable better productivity.
Being a PMC member enables assistance with the management
and to guide the direction of the project.
