No, I think this and many other english strings are unclear but not
incorrect.
I had to dig into the functionality and get the meaning to write it in
good portuguese for many, many strings.

It means that when you print the document, the last print date is
updated in the document properties. So it modifies the file and forces
you to save it again. As a side effect, this allows the operating system
to update the file timestamp as well.
