Log4Net Web site

2020-08-24 Thread Ralph Goers
All the NuGet emails are forwarded to the Logging PMC. We are getting requests to see the changes between 2.0.8 and 2.0.9. In the future I would suggest we not push to NuGet until the web site is updated. To avoid this. Ralph

Apache announcements sent to the announcement list have a few requirements. They should include a link to the web site and must include a link to the download page near the front of the email. As Matt said, they must look like they come from your apache.org email address. I

Make sure to move the tag into a rel/ namespaced tag. Those are immutable. For announcing, make sure to send from your Apache email and CC annou...@apache.org. On Mon, Aug 24, 2020 at 12:35 Robert Middleton wrote: > Since we have an actual release now, should we make an announcement email > >

Since we have an actual release now, should we make an announcement email on the gene...@logging.apache.org list? I can write up a blurb, but I'm not sure who can post to that list. I've also updated the tag for the release appropriately(v0.11.0) -Robert Middleton On Sun, Aug 23, 2020 at 1:09

I do not believe the site has been updated to reflect the release. I looked into it but couldn’t figure out how to build the site. Ralph > On Aug 24, 2020, at 6:38 AM, Dominik Psenner wrote: > > Hi > > People noticed that the release notes of 2.0.9 are missing while they > should be

Is this email supposed to be HTML? How can we enable that on the notifications mailing list? We can get nice HTML reports from Jenkins and GitHub Actions, too. On Sun, Aug 23, 2020 at 23:02 GitBox wrote: > > > dependabot[bot] opened a new pull request #406: > > URL:

Ralph has been looking at migrating the site from the old CMS. That could be added to the .htaccess file in the root there as a rewrite rule. On Mon, Aug 24, 2020 at 07:45 Davyd McColl wrote: > That's a good catch; the url should be updated (I'll put that on my TODO) > and I'd raise that
