Hi Mike, to be precise, on GitHub I think release managers would go through these steps: 1. Figure out blocker issues/PRs and associate them with the target Milestone, e.g., "9.4.0" 2. Create a new Milestone for the next version here , e.g., "9.5.0" 3.

Thanks Tomoko - I appreciate the offer to review the changes needed. I will take care of updating the release script/template. I think I managed to get a GPG key registered and signed (thanks Mike McCandless!) although we'll see if this all stands up to scrutiny! It's quite tricky to navigate this
