Erick Erickson resolved SOLR-9190. ---------------------------------- Resolution: Invalid First, please raise issues like this on the user's list first, it'll get a lot more eyes. We try to reserve JIRA for known code problems. Since this is the first time I've seen any kind of issue like this I suspect you've done something unfortunate in your installation. When you talk about adding lib directives to solrconfig.xml, I suspect you're trying to mix Solr 5 jars with Solr 4 jars which won't work. I'm closing this on the theory it's not a bug in Solr, we can re-open if necessary (after this gets discussed on the user's list). Try this: Shut down Solr Install a fresh 5.5 in another directory start up the fresh 5.5 with SOLR_HOME set to the same thing it was in Solr 4.x > upgrade from solr4 to solr-5.5.0 > -------------------------------- > > Key: SOLR-9190 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-9190 > Project: Solr > Issue Type: Bug > Environment: solr-5.5.0 > Reporter: Lena Gurevich > > Installed solr-5.5.0. Example shard works fine. No matter what I do for > existing shards, I get > org.apache.solr.common.SolrException:org.apache.solr.common.SolrException: > org/apache/solr/util/plugin/SolrCoreAware > in solrconfig.xml I put the first line:<lib > dir="/opt/solr-5.5.0/server/solr-webapp/webapp/WEB-INF/lib/solr-core-5.5.0.jar" > /> > SolrCoreAware.class is a part of solr-core-5.5.o.jar -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@lucene.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@lucene.apache.org
