It would be better if you produce diffs and attach them to issues filed on
the apache issue tracker.

Using a github fork to produce the diffs is very easy and works well. Not
quite as easy as pull requests.

I have forked mahout on GitHub and I'd like to contribute to the project.
I guess it's possible to make some pull requests and my commits (if
accepted) will be merged to the original repo. Rigth?
I'm asking because primare VCS is SVN, not Git and it looks like there are
